lunette extensions

Austin Webber down in Marble Falls, Texas has some of the 6" lunette extensions that I believe were used on the M198 howitzers.

Has anyone got any experience with them? Will they fit a standard M101A3 lunette?

I need a short extension for my 101 because it's too close to the ambulance body on the HMMWV when I take tight corners.

A M198 would be a very heavy tow and a M101 would be a very light tow so I'm guessing NO. Wayne

You need to find on of the pintle extension pieces that the shelter carriers have. That puts the pintle aount a foot farther back. He gets them from time to time.

The only problem with the pintle extensions is that they'd block the rear stairs.
