Luverne Style Brush Guard material dimension question for a custom build!

Its done, was gonna do the screen in the middle but piece i have on hand was not cut square oh well

I got 1/2" pins fron tractor suply for the upper holes so it will tilt easy

My luverne brush guard came with cables that attached to the hood grille and held the guard upright when closed. When you opened the hood, the brush guard lowered itself as the hood tilted forward.

I think they were repurposed from a slantback rear hatch.
No rattles and super convenient.

This is very heavy i cant see hooking it to the fiberglass

I didn't even see in that other pic , now i do lol, so does the weight of the guard help lift the hood? Very interesting
