I am contemplating taking my m-109 box off and installing it onto a trailer frame. I have seen some on here with frames from a deuce being used. Anyone have one on a lower frame from a camper or motorhome, or a custom made one? I dont have a spare duece frame around, but have some mobile home frames available to me? What are your opinions? A tandem axle set up. What should the box weigh? About 3000 lbs? Anyhow, any imput is greatly appreciated.

I won't go with mobile home frame as they are pretty light gauge steel. And the axles suck wierd size tires and if the bearing goes out you will lose the whole wheel. I cut up a few mobile home frames.

I have a dropside deuce bed mounted on a Bolster Trailer.

The tongue is adjustable and it will haul a load. They are also about a foot or so lower than a deuce bed.

A M109 body would fit very nicely.

A certain Gooberment surplus auction site has so many they are selling them.

6x6 You are right those bolt patterns on the old mobile home rims are strange.......and the steel isnt real beefy. I was just wondering out loud and seeing what you guys thought. Thanks.
