When I was the product engineer for steel fuel tanks and we (Delphi), got out of the steel tank business, a company in Montreal bought alot of our presses, dies and tools. They now produce a majority of the steel tanks for the aftermarket. Their name is Spectra Premium. I'm not sure who distributes them. They were good quality. Chevy truck tanks don't cost much. Get new straps for it too. Also, your sender will probably crumble when you remove it.
LMC carries them but beware, they are probably the Asian made. Poor quality.

I'd prolly guess ebay would be your best bet. I can get a tank new for around $100 localy.
