M1008 Repair Kit Frame Engine Bracket Kit

Came across this on fleabay. Can someone elaborate on the cause/need/fix/solution of this kit?

My observation is they are the pieces that go on the front frame horns behind the tubes and bumper brackets. Not sure where engine comes into place. But CUCV's have a small double section in the front frame horns. That will be my guess from looking. I did not reference the TM's. I may be the weakest link. Good Bye.
