Finally got my M1008. Wipers seem really slow, any cure ?
Also looks like it's never had a horn button in middle of steering wheel, just a rectangular cover, horn works off switch on dash. Thanks

The wipers have a weak motor from the factory. The longer the wiper blades, the slower they go. One trick is to look at your wiper motor under the hood and see if the 3 wires go through resistors before the motor. If so, bypass the resistors. It is a simple plug and play thing. It might help some.

If it is already bypassed. Then all you can do is only use them when the glass is wet.

Those aren't resistors, they are capacitors. The only resistance there is that they add one extra connection. So yes, remove them, but that isn't gong to work magic.

One thing to do is to make sure all of your connections are clean, especially the ground. Can't hurt to use some electrical contact cleaner on the motor.

ON mine, i found the wires going in were mesed up like bar sai. But then i also found out, the motor was just plain ole worn out. Replaced the wiper motor, and now they swinging quite nicely.
