i have to go get a 1009 in NY and im in Iowa would a tow bar be good that far or should i take my trailer?? the trailer can handle it for sure but i don't know with a tow bar is it going to be harder pr easier on my truck? im thinking about using my Chevy avalanche 1500 to tow it . i was looking at the book and it says it should tow it.

Penske does trailers? I am trying to figure out a way to get my M1009 down from Fort Macoy Uhaul isn't it the only trailer they would rent me was barely big enough for the blazer and they wouldn't rent it to me if I told them what I was actually doing with it I need to rent a bigger trailer.

Penske will only rent you a trailer if you rent one of their trucks to pull it.
At least that is what they told me when i asked to rent one.

Go to a independent rental place and rent a small equipment trailor, they will haul 8,000 lbs fine and there will be no fitment issues.
