Here's the deal,
the auction was awarded on Dec 5th, I had 1st time EUC approval and paid invoice in hand on 15 Dec. Called Tobyhanna and recieved the name and cell of the Gentleman handling the load outs at Lakehurst.
Arranged and picked up the truck on 18 Dec.
The whole process worked as advertised, and fast. The gal at Tobyhanna was great, returned my phone call very fast. Chris and Dwayne @ Lakehurst were
fantastic, great guys to deal with. Loaded the truck and prviewed a few more before leaving.
Truck started right up after glow plug light extingushed, no smoke.
Truck was a NJARNG turn in.
The truck had ;
79,000 miles
New dual exhaust from mainifolds back.
4 new tires with the nipples still on the tread.
New front and rear drive shafts.
New Batteries 7/08
New oil pan
New front fender wells
New radiator and hoses (- 50* coolant on tag)
New glow plugs and relay
All 4 shackles
Radio racks
2 gun holders
Small dent in passenger door
Light surface rust on hood
Passenger rocker panel small rust hole
Oil looked fresh / filter had 7/08 on it
Rear diff had 7/08 in white marker on it
Transfluid looked and smelled new
