Hello, has anyone ever used the diagnostic connector below the dash on the M1009 to troubleshoot their vehicle or know how it is used? Is a specific diagnostic tool required?

Cheers

You need the STE-ICE diagnostic device. If I remember correctly that stands for Simplified Test Equipment - Internal Combustion Engine. They come up on Ebay periodically, and someone always has one at MV shows. The device receives inputs from the tach sensor, fuel pressure sensor, and other sensors attached to the power train and electrical system.
