M1008 Front spring help

Hey All,

The driver side front spring on my M1008 is worn out and making my truck sit lower on that side. Ive been doing some research looking for replacements and have come up with this:

http://www.sdtrucksprings.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=7337.

The only thing that is keeping me from pulling the trigger is the width. Everything I've read says the stock springs are 3" wide and the ones I found are 2 3/4".

Is the difference in width going to be a problem?

Thanks

Do you want to keep the truck stock or thinking of a lift down the road? If lift has crossed your mind, then that is your fix. If wanting to stay stock, there seems to be a thread or two a week by people doing lifts on M1009 trucks. Pm them about their take out springs. For sure direct fit replacement. Probably cheaper too.
