my friend got a deal on a m1009 and it was from gov use to loacal state park use to private sale use. somewere along the lines the title was not given or offered. he wants to build this truck up for offroad use. he wants to go the legal way of getting title.

his question is what can he do or were can he look to see if it ever had a title offered to private sale person.

his plans are 5" total suspension lift/3" body lift/1ton axles/350tbi swap with th350 tranny. then 40" ground hawg tires. she still has all mill spec paint/gaurds/tow points everything minus drive terain.

any help would be great help thanks.

we have built a few of these before. and yes suspension is best. but on short wb. blazers body is better to finish off the lift. it keeps the driveline angles at bay and the pocket hungry drive shaft shop guys away from those custom cv shafts.
