M1009 rear noise

Afternoon All

Question

My 85 M1009 wines/hums, WHEN I AM IN POWER/THROTTLE ONLY. Does NOT when I let off.

It does not wine/hum at low speeds (0-30 MPH) It gets louder form 30 to 50MPH (loud at 55 to 65 MPH)

I have check rear oil looks fine.

I thought about replacing the gear oil with 140 gear oil (It might quite it down)


Any help would be appreciate

I would check the bearings! are you shur the noise is from the rear axle?

if its coming from rear sound like its time for a rebuild
