Look up the part number in the TM and start Googling. Theres a for sale/want to buy section on the forum here. Did you try that? Theres a lot of CUCV owners here, maybe someone has one.
What burned up on it? If it was me, I would deal with it, take it off and take it to a shop and have it repaired. Yeah its a Chinese starter, but maybe that would get you back on the road until you can find a GM one.

Do you want an old style direct drive or the newer style gear reduction?
I was just informed the other day that Oreilly's has a rebuild 24v direct drive. Wilson 91-01-43-76, $230. Comes with a one year warranty.

Which ever starter you go with, be sure to use the proper support bracket.
