M101 non-military paint schemes

I'm thinking about painting one of my 101's semi-gloss black or dark blue (or other non-attention-grabbing color).
I stripped and painted one a flat/semi-gloss Olive green consumer/civilian paint and it came out great, but since I'm not towing it with an MV (yet), I don't really care too much about it staying military looking.

I've seen red ones in fire dept service, but anyone with pics of them in other colors, please post up, I'd love to get an idea of how it might look.

Thanks.

Very nice, I like all of them.
Nick, I 3rd the above, the wood looks great. I like how you mounted the bow stowage mounts lower, too.

I like the way the black looks. I'm thinking I may go with that. I think also, anything BUT carc makes these trailers look really good. Carc makes them look tough as nails and definitely military, but I don't need that behind my SUV or sitting next to the driveway for the neighbors to stare at.

My before and after pictures.
Before camo with drab frame
after black frame, chrome GMC 8 bolt rims, new coupler mount and 200 pounds removed.
by taking the non working brakes and lunette off. 1990 M101A2
Hot Rod Red Mathews paint with chrome silver hardware.

I added a rear 2" receiver for bike rack and field table mount.

Nick, I am definitely going to redo the wood racks on my next one. That looks great. Did you use oak?
Its local "Valley Oak" from here in the central valley of Ca. Very hard, harder than normal oak. Had to soak it with Thompsons to get a good coat to protect it from sun more than wet, since its in my garage.

Wanted to mount the bows lower so I could leave them in the storage position and still make the clearance into my garage.

The small community of Welch, TX has recently acquired a Deuce and Trailer that they are converting into a Brushfire Rig. They have painted their trailer Gloss Black.....

(Sorry you can't see the trailer real good - I was more interested in the Deuce.)

I think a battleship gray would make a nice color for a trailer. Will blend in a little more with the city folks and HOA's.
What is the Home Depot equivalent to battleship grey? I like that idea. Anybody know of a good consumer paint to achieve that look?

I used something to paint my son's bedroom trim that was a blend of ultra pure white and black and probably a perfect Navy grey, but it was interior paint and picked off a color card. It was also Behr paint, which has proven itself to suck big time inside... I have no doubt it would peel before it cures in outdoor humidity or cold.

That's Funny, I am going to paint my M101CDn and M101A1 Battleship grey as soon as I can afford to have them blasted and painted. Found a nice color chip somewhere. now I have to go try and dig it out.
