Went to drive 1010 home and had park lights and no hi or low beams also had the horn when you flip on the lights . Went to unplug the batteries and got a spark of the positive wire .

M1010 Electrical,

I found some wire casing damage at the firewall that could have turned into a 'short' like you describe.

The way mine vibrates and hums it's a wonder casings stay on the wires.

I think I've touched every connection on the truck and so far it's worked. Removed and replaced grounds, leads, connections and did it all over again as often as possible.

Let us know what you found but you may need to chase a few hundred feet of wire and touch every connection.
