M101A2 Question

I just purchased my first M101A2 trailer yesterday to pull behind my 1008. I was really wanting a M101A3 trailer for the extra foot of space between the wheel wells but I couldnt pass the deal up. I ended up with the A2 and in the deal I got a set of 12 bolt rims with practically brand new 37" goodyears and also a brand new tarp for the trailer all for 300 bucks. The trailer is in very good shape and everything seems to work very well. My question is, is the A2 frame the same as the A3? If I was to purchase an A3 bed will it be a direct fit to the frame I have now? Thanks!

More trailer salad. The bodies will interchange. To use the HMMWV rims you may need the A3 axle or spacers. The HMMWV tires will clear the chassis frame rails by just at an inch but I don't know if they will clear the body fenders. The fenders can be moved out on the trailer box but it's a bit of work to break all the welds loose.

Thanks Recovry, I did go look at the data plates again on the trailer and I noticed the trailer box has M101A2. The frame data plates say M116A2 with a delivery date of 6/92 if this means anything.
