Hi together,
i got my a2 4 months ago, my third humvee now . Less than 5.000miles and nice car. the steering was noisy and works hard mostly. I checked the lines and hydraulic winch with leak spray, and turned the wheels left to the right (engine off) like in the manual to get the air out.
no change.
i changed the steering pump with a new one and vented again.
Same issue.
if the rpm is higher, the noise is more.
if the humvee idles, the steering goes hard mostly.
if i unplug the Cadillac valve, same noise.
When i start the humvee in the morning, the noise comes after 30 - 60 Seconds.
What ca be the issue?
We have not many a2 Humvees in Germany
and difficult to find experts here and parts.
Best regards alex
