M105 Tongue length

I'm looking for the tongue length of a M105 a1 or a2. Apparently it wasn't considered a critical dimension in the TM. So if someone has a 105 and tape measure I would appreciate if I could get the measurement from the tip of the lunette ring to the front of the box. Thanks.

Well there is a vertical reinforcement channel in the center of the front wall of the box so here are the 2 measurements. From the brace on the front of the wall you have 51 3/4” From the front wall it's self it's 53 1/4”.

52 inches, to the rib on the front of the box.

It is 52" from the front edge of the rib in the center of the bed to the front edge of the lunette. I also included a picture showing the depth of that rib.

The box is 9' long. give or take a few ...

Yeah the box length and overall length are in the TM, but the Tongue length doesn't equal Box minus overall. At least not to the accuracy I was looking for.

Wow that was fast DH it took me about an hour to find that page earlier. Now I need to buy a 105 to find the missing 3.75"
