I'm curious if anyone here has loaded down a M105a2 to the point that the helper springs are engaged. Sorry if this has been covered in other posts. I am removing the helper springs on mine so as to mount the axle inside the arch of the spring. The main springs look plenty strong enough for my max on road need of 4000lbs. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I carried a pallet of bag rock salt this winter. That's 49bags x 50lbs=2,450lbs and the helper springs were about 1/4 to 1/2 inch from touching. Hope this will help you out.
