Today I added a Tropicool RV coating to the shelter. Outside temp was 88 degrees, surface temp over 145F!!!! 1 gallon applied, prior to even curing, the temps have dropped over 40F! Thats a huge difference. It also seals the top from water. Will be much more comfortable inside and the air-conditioning won't have to work as hard.
Used a roller and a pole. Didn't take super long. Very pleased with the results. Cant be seen from the ground but it will be noticed when inside the shelter. Highly recommend anyone doing any camping builds or storage of items in shelters to add this to the roof and you wont regret it.
