Welcome. peashooter nailed it, but don't trust the fuel guage!
The only thing that lies more consistantly than a politician running for re-election is a military vehicle fuel guage.
This is the voice of experience speaking. I once ran the same truck out of fuel three times on the same trip.auaaua

What do you plan to do with your M109? Does it have a turbo? Many M109A3s (like mine) came without. I guess they decided that shop vans were REMF trucks.

There are lots of posts on this website about fixing the box up. Learn how to do a search and you will see a lot of good ideas.

Kaiser, It does have a turbo. I all ready started some work in the back. (camper/off grid living) I have a small side biz selling emergency supply and this will also double as a " bug out " vehicle. Just installed a solargizer 24 v as well today. I was a medic for 17 years so i like to be prepared. ;).

Now you need a matching trailer.... Truck and Trailer.jpg My setup can sleep 8-14 people. 4 from the M109a3 and 4 inside the trailer and 4 more on the top. The top open up and a Cali King in it. It is not complete done yet but will be soon.
