Hello,

I am looking for any info or advice on downgrading the current 12K suspension on my M1097A2. I have been looking for kits and it seems like I keep pulling up lift kits which I am not trying to that. I would just like to soften up the ride and I’m not sure if I can go down to the 7k suspension without having to change out the A frames. Or if going to the 10k suspension would suffice. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome to the forum.

I am a firm believer in the tire pressure outlined in the -10 owners' manual. I have a 10,300 lbs M1123 and am running 20 psi in all four, drop it down to 15--18 when off roading, all when no other load than the driver and passenger. Many folks here have a heart attack and clutch their pearls when they read my posts. For me it made a world of difference, and I have over 6,000 miles on these tires, BF Goodrich Baja 10 ply, DOT stamp 2018.

What tire pressure are you filling?
