M35 engine stand?

Has anybody used an engine stand like this to hold an M35A2 engine. I am looking to do a rebuild next year and am starting to plan now.

NO, **** no. I have one like that and it will hold my 7.3 Powerstroke diesel but you can't even think about rotating it. I would be willing to bet that if you some how manged to bolt a Multi to it it would only collapse.

very true, holding it is one thing, actually turning it and working on them is another, especially and somewhat tall and narrow motor as the yours

the pallet it is shipped in on from china would be much more up to the task. You are going to be hard pressed to find a stand of that design that will come close to holding a multi

To safely secure and manipulate a engine the size and weight of a milti would require a stand like this.
