M35 fuel cap gasket

Just picked up a bobbed deuce from a co-worker and was out tooling around and spotted some seepage on top of the tank. Reckon the bumps in the road and some sharp turns allowed the fuel to splash up around the filler cap. Gasket looks OK but is now too thin for any kind of a seal.

It's a little wider than OEM(about 0.1") but seems to work just fine for 2.49
PN is 40201

I plan on getting the real thing. But if you're out somewhere fueling up and find the gasket broken or what-not, at least there's a quick fix.
