It was an hhc 317 mp truck likely belonged to the motor pool or mess section. having been a duce driver in the in the 142 nd mp co I can say it did a lot in the support of the company likely any time they had to haul something big or transport weapons that is what your truck did. supply had a 5 ton but I still found my self shuttling troops and furniture around all the time. When we went to the field we would pack the whole motorpool into it and a 105 trailer.
