Saw RE:X last night. Pretty cool movie for the gory sci fi, and if you love zombie movies. However, there was a M35A2 turbo diesel whistler in the movie that played a small supporting role. Very cool seeing OD green iron in a movie, and the sound effects from the engine whistling were dead on. I thought I was in the cab of mine!

Oh, and plus: THEY DIDN'T BLOW IT UP WHEN THE MOVIE WAS OVER. That's a rarity.

Yea, it was a kick a#$ movie, but when they had the interior shots, the actors could talk to each other!! Too bad that ain't exactly so, eh? aua

I've looked for some good pictures of that truck. It looks like a wo/w truck, but has some kind of aftermarket winch bolted on the front of the bumper?

Wow, what an old thread to resurrect.

It's been widely known that flame throwers and zombies do not mix. The zombies are already dead and can't suffer from being lit on fire. Rather they will continue to move and can spread the fire to surrounding areas, like buildings, brush or even other vehicles. It usually takes at least a couple minutes for a zombie's brain to succumb to the intense heat. A flame thrower is not a good alternative to a good old shotgun blast to the head.

I agree, but flamethrowers are just way cool, a good zobie killin mod would be a Cullin hedgerow cutter welded to the front bumper.

Excellent point on the flamethrower, i'll keep that filed under "may someday be useful". As we speak i'm waiting for the last 20 min of resident evil apocalypse to load, after that its on to extinction. LOVED the first one but just haven't found the time to watch the other 2 until this thread made me do it. Thanks to kendelrio for reminding me.

P.S. no idea why the first half went all wierd on the color or why the last line is underlined....wierd

Nice flick, anyone that hasn't seen it should. They really did get the sound dead on for that deuce, although the in cab shots were a bit quieter than is realistic. Can hardly wait for the next one now.

I gotta love that, not many people would realize this and then even better you posted it:-D

Brad Pitt is actually producing World War Z, taking the different stories and making a whole movie. That should be funny and gory as hell (Inglorious Bastards style).

Was I the only one that saw the Speedo when it was showed it was doing 100mph, with the Duece following in the conovoy.
Now the World War Z movie, will be great, I hope they do the book justice. It will be a good following of the George Romero Zombie flics.
