M35A2 VIN Help What Year is it?

Hi guys I am new to the site and working on buying my first deuce after reading lots of articles from you all, I have been talked into it! I am heading down to get the truck tomorrow and drive it home (2 hours). All I know is that it is a Kaiser-Jeep. I need to get some info but the guy doesnt know anything about it all I have is the ID no: O4M-14669-0325-24470. Any way someone can give me a year from this that I could use (need a year to use the dealer plates my buddy has).

Second question: It was used as a fire truck in a local town after it was done its job for the military. Do I need to worry about any paperwork from the FD or military releasing it etc?

This should help Deciphering the codes: Kaiser-Jeep and AM ... - Military Trader . As far as the title goes does your state require titles or will they register it with a bill of sale ? If your buddy is a dealer he should know if it can be titled and what you need.

I have checked with my town and the title will not be an issue with just a few pieces of paperwork and a police officer verifying the VIN. Thanks for the link I will do some more reading!
