Greetings, found a problem with my m35a3c. Accordian house from back of
air filter system that routes clear across dash firewall, exits through hole in
bottom of engine side panel guard and junctions with what I think is either
steering assist or drag link is frayed. Studied TM 9-2320-386-24P forever it
seems and what I find is: item 41, smr code pa0zz, nsn 4720014414844,
part number 12448410, is named hose, preformed. Need to replace hose.
Should I go to Caterpillar dealer for 3116 engine part, auto parts store, etc. ?
Did total fluid, filter change and missed it. Drained air tanks and no moisture,
but sure want to know if any air system damage is possible and should I
replace Haldex filter, etc. Thanks much for any advice or guidance and my
best regards.

Greetings,

No, this hose is black. What I have found from the NSN number is:
Dust ejector hose, i.d. 1.5", rubber synthetic, reinforced wire. This
hose is about 8 feet long altogether. Thanks and regards.

I don't think CAT will have that hose, their only part of the truck is just the engine and then some of parts are not even CAT (ie. alternator). No answer on the hose source.
