M38 in WWII

I was surfing on YouTube and seen this picture of what looks like a M38 in Berlin, Aug 1945?



I know production of M38 where 1950's but is it possible a test model? Oh ya of course 2AD, "**** on Wheels"

That's an MB with fender mods. the headlights are WAY to small to be M38 sized. Not to mention the windshield frame and pioneer tool location.

You occasionally see MB/GPW Jeeps modified like that. I've seen lots of pictures of General's Jeeps with this mod.
