Hello!
My name is Luiz Felipe and I live in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. This is my first post here.
Recently I've bought a M38 and I need to get some information about it . As it doesn't have the original dash data plates as well the plate located on the passenger wheel well, I don't know both serial number and date of delivery from my Jeep. The only information known are from an overhaul plate riveted to the glove box door which says that the vehicle was overhauled at Red River Arsenal in February 1961 (see picture below) and the original hood number 20945744 stamped on the top of the left side front frame rail (see picture below).

Is it possible to get the serial number and date of delivery from my M38 through its hood number?
Is it still possible to get such information at Red River Arsenal (Red River Army Depot), once my jeep was overhauled there?
Do they still keep overhauling records there? How should I proceed?
Any help is welcome.
Regards,
Luiz Felipe
