For every hour of use, how much maintenance is needed on tracks and running gear

Ron,
There is not much houlry maintenance except for filling the gas tank! The last time I had to adjust my tracks was 4 years ago. The engine consumes about 1 quart of oil per 15 to 20 miles of driving.

Thank you, I would think it would take a lot more then that, to keep track iron going

Ron,
The biggest problem is fouling spark plugs. I am pretty good at changing them! There are 2 plugs per cylinder. The outer set I can change in an hour or so. The inside set took me and a friend 3 1/2 hours to change the last time I did it! The rubber track pads are going to be another big problem. A friend on mine & I are working on a project to make a new bolt on type rubber pad.
