We painted the Virginia War Museum's Prototype T-97 155mm SP Gun (1950?) this weekend.
Used the Virginia Military Preservation Association's M543A3 Wrecker and tank towbar to move her and clean the track, the trucks compressor to augment the small provided air compressors over the past two weekends.
Here's a YouTube Vid of the movement (moving starts about 35 sec in).

Just a minor shout out to PYTHON96 for his help in donating some tires to the M547A3, she really does run better and can obviously pull her load. We'll use the others on some museum pieces n the near future. THANKS Phil!

Very cool. I looked up some info on the gun, very heavy !

1952 -U.S.A. M53 (T-97) 155mm SP Gun[h=4]Armament: 1 - 155mm M46 gun
1 - 0.50" MG
Armor: 15mm max.
Engine: Continental, AV-1790-5B, V-12 gas, 810 hp
Speed: 30 mph
Range: 160 miles
Crew: 6
Weight: 42 tons[/h][h=4]"If it's going to be better, it must be bigger " — appeared to be the concept behind the new generation of Army large bore weapons in the 1950s. The T-97 standardized as the M53 in 1952 was one of the largest and heaviest vehicles fielded in the post-war period. Weighing almost 100,0001bs. combat loaded, it was over 32 feet long.[/h]
