M60/M108 deuce wrecker - heavier frame or standard?

Was wondering if the early deuce wreckers, the M60 and M108 series, had double frames or more reinforcement in the frame, or was it just a wrecker body sitting on a standard deuce frame? I know the 5-ton wreckers are double-framed or strengthened more than standard 5-tons, but wasn't sure about the deuces, since they were considered a "light duty" wrecker and maybe didn't need the extra steel...
