:sad:There is a M62 in South Carolina that has seen better days. It is near the coast so there is a lot of rust. Looking at the pictures I suppose it will be headed to the scrap yard. I know this is an awfull thing ... but I am considering buying it and scrapping it to help pay for all of my other toys.

It's worth getting, parting out what you can (you get more for good parts than scrap), and shredding the rest. Folks here need parts...

Then they (or somebody) swapped the bed or they swapped the tag.

:ditto:

And, it has the fender mount air cleaner, so it's not a gasser. Is it a Mack or Mutlifuel? Could be a converted M62, but they are less common than M543A2's, and I'll bet diesel-converted M62's WITH a Garwood bed are even LESS common. :)

It might have been a M62 at one time just had the 6602 swapped for a multi
and might had trouble with the old wrecker bed and up dated it. the wrecker
can be saved if someone has the time and money but still good parts.
