Hello SS,
Which TM lists the wiring harness numbers for the M809 trucks? Need to identify the black out drive wires for the front and rear lights.

:) try dis-connecting the wires at the light assy and run a hot wire to the differnt wires--when the light works you will know the number

Remember all the M series wire numbers are the same...The chart is in PS mag #38 from 1955 and in the Army Vehicle Parts Guide from Dennis Spence's Portrayal Press. As there is only one black out drive light, the others are markers, you should have no problem.. The 260 series manuals have good schematics.. Wire 20 goes from light switch to markers, wire 23 goes to blackout stop, wire 24 to B/O tail, wire 19 to blackout drive.. etc... the second wire on the bo drive is a ground.

and 106 is Gyro Control (#3 on connector) to motor stabilizer control, yellow post, not to be confused with 108 which is STIFFNESS CIRCUIT including disengage switch.
