M818 Alternator/Generator

In Iowa in need of a generator or a way to bypass the diode in the generator so that we can keep the lights operating on a rescue. Replaced the batteries and truck was running well until the generator stopped charging. Needing to get to Ohio so we need a way to keep the lights on by bypassing the the diode or we need a generator for an M800 series 5 ton truck with the Cummins.

Same alt, different spacer and pulley( I think).

You can run in the daytime, with no power at all, if you open the shutoff screw on the shutoff valve on the IP.

Iowa is kinda big, where exactly are you? Got a cell number?
