First question I guess is does the M9 31 a2 have a check valve in the system if it does where is it? My symptoms? Simple you leave it set for more than a few hours there’ll be no fuel in lines
Or the fuel that’s in the filter on the driver side fender well it’lis gone and I’ll just roll and roll and roll cause there’s no fuel won’t start so I break the B nut loose at the lift pump primer. poor fuel down and it fill the bowl and then hand prime it with the bulb and it’ll start and run but then again if I leave it more than a few hours it drains back again. I checked the tube lift tube in the tank there’s no cracks. It’s not sucking air that I can find and then I ran a fuel line from the lift tube straight over to the primer pump lift pump and the fuel filter eliminating the selector valve and everything and I still have the same effect let it set from a few hours. It’ll drain back. Won’t be any fuel and you have to fill it again prime again. Any ideas lift pump is new, 10 hours operating time on it changed it last fall change the filter last fall and check the pick up tube last fall for cracks glad to hear from anybody you may have some insight.
