54"? from ground to center of lens MAX I FED law states I believe. I bet-ya you are
almost 2" over that limit. Some guys could care less, I have a
SUPER LARGE insurance co for a client in in there head attorneys
office there is a big giant picture depicting just this issue...
If anything ever goes wrong w/ lights on and too high your instantly at fault.

There are electrical junction buss bar type deals under
both headlights / mounts FWIW if you might think about
lowering them that way.

You can kill them, and bolt on anew as well.

It is a litigating society...be forwarned.

She pulled like a dream. The tri-axle didn't even feel like it was back there except when I hit a few hills.

Artisan, I already installed the A/C, it was pretty straightforward. I am also a certified welder so the few brackets I had to make we're pretty easy. The a/c install also killed two birds with one stone as I was able to finally put a cup holder in the bracket I made to move the blower unit over. Best mod yet.

Yes sir, that's where that shiny new alternator is going. I parked it in the shop this evening and tore her down to get ready for the install. We are starting on a two mile long fence next week so the truck will be parked till after your package arrives so I figured I'd get her ready!

Good deal! Your gonna love the C.E.Neihoff designed
upgraded charging system I am sending.

It's all boxed and scheduled to go to UPS tomorrow.
I will have UPS box the ALT again, to their specs, to
insure you get it w/o the UPS gorillas winning at
dropping it several times.

You will be relocating the 12V horn, it is there on the top rail where
you will mount the REGULATOR bracket I am sending that
is part of the kit. Do not bolt it down, you will do that when
mounting the Diagnostic LED Regulator.

NOW is a GREAT TIME to service the radiator hose assembly
that is right there if it needs help AND if you want to add a
120V Block heater NOW is a good time to do that as well.
I "think" Alex at www.idahomotorpool.com might have those.

maybe pull the ALT bracket and paint it if your as anal as me.

Look at my pics of my upgraded charging system in the "Artisans M916" thread.
I just flipped my horn upside down I think is what I did, but-some-however,
I will be deleting the stock electric horn and replacing it w/ a horn
off a 5-Ton that uses air, and use the center steering wheel horn
button to activate it. I will be mounting it on the PS Front bumper
aimed right at the idiot drivers to my starboard whom are challenged
and do not know how to LOOK when merging onto the freeway.
You can watch them suck on coffee and cigs or texting there boyfriends
and not look for one second while merging into traffic for incoming anything.
I drive 55 & defensively as you must w/ a big rig but stupid is as stupid does,
and you just-can't-fix-stupid...
