Can anybody tell me what kind of interstate hiway fuel mileage I can expect to get out of an M923A1 with the 14.00 R20 XZL tires? 250 cummins naturally aspirated, allison automatic trans.

I got 8 MPG in my M923 with 395 super singles on her. I had an average cruising speed of 55 MPH. I thought this may have been a miscalculation but I also averaged about he same when I initially brought the truck home (410 miles).

I get around 7 MPG with my M923a0 running 1600.20s

I got 9.5 MPG in my M923a2 running 1400.20s. I was amazed at that. Had to doublecheck the math. It gets better mileage than my deuce at twice the weight.

My 932a1, unloaded, with 14's get 6.5 mpg at 50 mph and 6 mpg at 57 mph. This was over a 600 mile test on recoverying another MV.

My experience is between 7.5 and 8 in an M923a1 (Michelin 14x20 XL's) on my recovery trip (1000 miles), but I was in a convoy with three A0's, so cruising speed was kept down to around 1700-1800 rpm. I was also adding DieselKleen--Not suggesting it increases mileage, but it does seem to smooth things out a bit.
