M923A2 Newbie Questions

Greetings and thank you in advance. I've recently started assisting with the maintenance for one of these guys, and the first question I have is - what is the oil type and capacity for the air compressor, if any?

The air compressor gets oil from the motor. I use Shell Rotella 15-40w in my trucks.
I think the truck take right at 5 gal., but I would look in the TM at the lub order and see.

I only see the manuals for the M939 series, as well as the M915-920 Series. Do the lower version trucks fall under M939? How so?

The M939 TM will cover your truck. Read through the first few pages and it even shows pictures/models that it covers.
