I did what you said. I screwed that screw in all the way and Yes it worked it stayed running. I backed it back out to where it originally was and it shut off. Do I need a new solenoid?

Yep you need a new Solenoid if you are getting the proper voltage to the Solenoid but it is not working as shown when it does run properly with the screw turned in but quits again when screwed out.
