m931a2 headlight/marker issues

Hi very new to this my 5ton worked all night no problems got out to get coffee came back headlights and side markers were out turned 3 lever switch off and back to headlight pos and popped breaker anyone have any thoughts bad switch? thanks

short to ground somewhere. Try jigging your light connections or wires around your tail lights or where the harness goes thru the frame before getting to the hood connector. Just shake wires. Leave your headlights ON if you jigging the short the breaker will turn the lights on and off. You are talking about a lot of area of wires to find a specific short. Just best to start by jiggling wires at connection points to see if it is just something simple there before replacing parts.
