Greetings All,
I sent away oil samples for analysis which included my rear and center differentials, engine oil and transmission fluid (I skipped transfer case and front differential pending the analysis of the rear). Got partial results back, but the analysis company needs more information.
The oil analysis company wants to know the make/model of the rear differential so that they can pull up metallurgic data and produce an accurate report. I've been looking hard and all I am able to determine is the assembly part number with no manufacturer.
Q: Does anyone know the manufacturer/make and model of the axle assemblies/differentials on an M393A1 / M934A1 5-ton truck?
Also, If anyone knows the manufacturer/make and model of the transfer case that might also be helpful for future analysis.
