M939 hub flip?

I am looking at using a set of 939 axles for a special project, but need to know if the rear hubs can be flipped. If so, what width would that make the axles, wheel flange to wheel flange? This is not the typical singling out of a truck, which would not require the flipping. For this project the must be flipped.

If it is an A0 or A1 it will work but the overall width with be 4" narrower than the front. As far as I know you can not flip the hubs on the A2 series. If you need the actual width of the axles (wheel mount surface to wheel mount surface) I can get them, I have a set with the brakes off and the rear hubs flipped.

Tie6044, thanks for the info. A measurement would be very helpful. I can pick up a set of axles tomorrow, but with out a measurement I'm not sure if they will work.

I guess I was a little off, they are 5" different. The front is 88 1/2" and the rear is 83 1/2".
