So after a month of nightmare luck, my deuce is finally home. Many lessons learned...would I do it again? Oh, he|| yeah!!! I seem to do pretty good in sink or swim scenarios.

For those who have been following Headed to Eglin
I went up this past wednesday for the 3rd time to north florida, to replace the pressure plate. After doing the same thing 2 weeks prior, I was able to swap the PP and have her running in less than 3 hours by myself. My headlights burned out so I couldn't drive at night. I drove 7 hours to ocala, then up early to finish the remaining 7 hours to Fort Lauderdale.
She runs like a dream and had ZERO issues on the way home.
Now I can relax, I honestly don't want to even look at the truck for a while, since I've been so stressed about it for a month. I'll give it a month before I start restoring it.
Anyway, thanks for all the tips and support from everyone, couldn't have done it without you guys.

Looking good, I am definitely glad mine ran home for me. Excellent partner in crime you have there. I am betting that puppy is a hoot to have around. 8)

The recovery is half the fun of buying these things. I have some good stories. Each recovery you get wiser and plan ahead better. Geuss they call that "Experience".
