There is a thread or two over on the Smok Stak board about the MB-Teen series http://www.smokstak.com/forum/showthread.php?t=47101 , and one of the generator professional regulars over there EricWood worked on them when he was in the Air Force a few decades ago.

I have one. The few threads on them are on Smokstak. There is an mb-16 manual available on google books for free. It covers most of what you need for repair, except that motor is a 6 cylinder.
