I think i found my problem on my start up smoke problem .Number one injector might be bad. Random skip and puffing white gray. Like to replace that one but I can’t find a place that has a good used one. My other question I can’t find the timing marks on the flywheel or the cooling wheel up front

The fan wheel up front is not used in timing. You have to locate the marks through the small hole between the engine and generator head. It has a pointer index on it. I may have a tested serviceable injector remaining. Will check and let you know via PM.

Well I found my problem .It ended up being the high pressure pump. Number one takes its time to build up pressure in number one for some reason. The other 3 injectors build pressure right up .I had a gauge on the end of the injector line. With the engine running it took some time for the fuel to pump out of the bleed valve at the gauge. Guess i will live with it
