I have recently acquired a mep 015A generator. When I got it, it didn't run. It came with a carburetor, a governor, points, and a new fuel pump. I bolted on the new carb and the fuel pump and got it to run. I now need a generator cover. Where can I buy one?

Those babies were hard to get in the army. If it were me, I would make one, or get one made. Unless you just want one to make it right by the book. If I remember correctly, the cover consists of:

1. Cover
2. Outside data plate, Operating instructions
3. Inside data plate, wiring diagram
4. 4 ea. Rivets to attach the data plates
5. 2 ea. Securing screws
6. 2 ea. Securing nuts to keep the securing screws on the cover.

Do you have the -24P manual?

If you keep up on PMCS, that set will run a long time. Does it have electronic ignition? If you dont use it often, and even if you do, its good to put some carb cleaner in the fuel every so often.
