MEP-016E Fuel Usage

Yanmar rates the L-100 engine used on the MEP-016e at around .58 -.66 GPH at full load and around .34-.38 GPH at half load depending on the exact version of the L100 (L100A, L100AE, L100V, etc.) model and source of information. In the commercial world these are usually mated with 6,000 - 6,500 watt generator ends. So turning a MEP-016 series generator end at 3,000 watts output one would expect fuel consumption to be around the half load .34 GPH number (discounting extra friction loss from the relatively oversized generator end). I have seen the .38 or .39 GPH mentioned for the L70 powered MEP-016d, so this seems to be a reasonable guess.
