Howdy folks.
Got myself a mep-25a 28 vdc generator for charging batteries in my 24v vehicles.
Looks new and reading thru the manuals.
Here I find the diagram of the alternator.
Normally alternators are 3 phase but this seems to be wired into phase and 90 degrees??
Besides the voltage regulator part can this be rewired for 36 and 48 volt.
A lot of the coils are in parallel and then one set seems to be divided in half. That is why I thought maybe 36 volt is on the menu as well.
Anyone experimented with this?
